Elaina is not a hero, she is just a girl that travels, she is not here to solve people's problem or mysterys, this isn't a series where she travels and becomes some famous witch hero that do heroic deeds. She has no right to involve herself (even though she wanted to during slave by wanting to kill the father) in other people affairs, if slave girl kills herself then that is on father son and her, not elaina

2021-07-01 04:07:26 +0000 UTCI personally really liked the approach they did when she didn't solve everyone's problems. It gives a different perspective that you don't really see in other anime. And remember, everyone is equal and has their own share of problems, Elaina is the same. It's a good change of pace to see a protag who isn't a saint helping everyone but acknowledges/experiences their hardships in an outside perspective.

None of this wandering in the title, but she stays in one place makes a ton of friends and they hang out in a tavern or some shit. It's cool to see the world is grey and not just black and white, but isn't she handling the bad times a little too well lol. I'm really enjoying this still.

Itβs basically Elaina stumbling into all sorts of stories, some of which are incredibly dark, and just bailing the moment sheβs not interested anymore. Weβve got a city being overrun by plant zombies and a slave who even Elaina believes might kill herself in the future, yet she just decides itβs none of her business, writes the story into her book, and heads off to finding something else. Sheβs so hilariously arrogant and absolutely couldnβt care less about anyone else, yet sheβs still oddly charming. Her entire journey is just her barging into other peopleβs business, writing down whatever interests her, and then letting the people deal with whatever consequences follow.
