Tbh its good as a comedy, but i think it loses its charm when it tries to be edgy or dark. it just doesnt suit this show at all. and not to mention the absolute uselessness of the gods in this anime, as they are garbage tier gods compared to what a god would be lol. even on their own planet they cant do anything, and some random demon lord on a mortal world can just casually make an item that can easily kill gods kekw. it was good while it lasted, but the cautious hero troupe has run its novelty in 12 episodes and i dont think this show deserves a second season

2021-07-26 01:59:30 +0000 UTCTo answer the question about the sequel, it’s based off a LN series so usually we get hoed. However, long story short there are 7 volumes so far, and this season covered only the first two. Also, from what i hear the series is darker at times (still some comedy though).

From a basic writing standpoint it's not particularly good, but I'm also able to realize that it was never meant to be a masterpiece in the first place. Gotta know when to turn your brain off and just sit back and laugh at the stupid shit that happens.
