Yessss! Yashiro Nightow is the creator behind this and only one other full manga/anime series, Trigun. Trigun is my absolute favorite anime/manga of all time so needless to say when this was released I was so freaking excited!

Kekkai Sensen has such a unique style and absolutely incredible soundtrack. Everything from the setting to the power system is so incredibly original. Plus it’s just a beautifully animated show in general. You’ve also yet to watch the absolute bangers that are season 1’s OP and ED.

This anime has such an interesting style of storytelling and world building. Though, I will admit, I think I stopped watching it because I'd watch it late at night and end up falling asleep. I do recall the show definitely having some great fights, and pretty damn funny moments. That lighter scene with Zapp was lit About the voice actors, a lot of them are also in Gintama. Leonardo = Shinpachi Zapp = Hijikata / Zoro Chain = Sarutobi (purple-haired ninja girl) The villain behind the TV = Katsura Klaus = Kiritsugu (from Fate/Zero)
