2021-11-25 14:12:43 +0000 UTCI'm a bit late so I'm kind of unsure if you guys haven't heard already but, a few years back Riot decided to revamp the entire lore of League of Legends. Originally, the lore of League's characters was directly tied into the gameplay: where the characters find some sort of motivation to join "The League of Legends", where they would compete with the other challengers. However, after the revamp, the League of Legends lore universe is completely separate from the actual gameplay. This show takes a deep dive into two of the many factions of Runterra Piltover and Zaun, alongside characters associated with those factors, which has no ties to the actual gameplay whatsoever. Loving these reactions and looking forward to more! As someone who has played League for a long time, I was so pumped to see this announced, especially after seeing Riot's animation team dominate with their already existing music videos/character trailers.
