Update: Alive, Discord, Archive, etc.

Hey, everyone. I procrastinated doing this for a quite a while, because I legitimately felt bad about not having sent a sign of life in so long - and now as I log on I see it's actually been a full damn year since my last post, which is even far longer than I thought it would have been. Oh, well - thanks for your patience, I truly don't deserve it. I'll try to make things at least somewhat short:

- I'm alive (d'uh), and have actually had extended stretches during which I animated quite a bit, but those stretches are becoming fewer and the distances between them keep getting bigger. I don't want any of this to feel like a chore for me, and I don't want to make promises I can't keep. I think I'm not going to just fade away entirely without releasing some of the stuff I put thousands of hours into over the years, even if it's clearly unfinished, but I also know I won't be able to force myself to do it if I just end up not wanting to do it at some point.

- I had started setting up a Discord server quite some time ago when I saw what a fellow creator did with that. Two main ideas to it: first, it serves as an archive, which this patreon profile used to do before I had to delete large portions of it. Secondly, it allows me a quick and easy way to just drop a screenshot of a work in progress just after working on it, without having to wonder which site to even upload an unfinished thing like that. I'll post the link to the server on my twitter (@GobSfm) in a few minutes - sorry for having you take that detour, but Patreon is okay with linking to twitter and (for now, apparently) doesn't give a shit where things go from there, while having direct links to places that host problematic content can cause larger issues.
