2020-03-13 20:07:48 +0000 UTCThis arc was written in a lot more detail in the light novels. Gabiru as a named monster was actually pretty powerful among his kind. He's also had some decent strategic talents. He made sure the goblins were only used to finish off the orcs so they won't get unnecessarily sacrificed. His hit-and-run tactics worked really well for like a while. The issue is of course the fact that he underestimates his opponents.
