You notice it because of how it doesn't move from that one spot which seems odd in the moment, but then hopefully you realize later how it's symbolic of Leon and his passivity. It's easy to miss how such a small detail can be used to prime you towards such a central theme of the episode. There's a lot of small inclusions in this series which aren't too important if you don't notice them, but they can add so much if you do.
