yeah it explains in the first light novel how he only leveled up his magic to 100, because he was more into the roleplaying aspect to the game and he was probably middle of the pack strongest in his guild. reason why hes tryna test all these leveling up methods with hamsuke and the lizards etc..

Yeah you got a point...Definitely didn't get the scale of how strong she was. Also forgot that a lot of these characters weren't created by Ainz himself, so them being close to his strength shouldn't be surprising as I'm sure he wasn't the strongest in his guild.

you are probably way ahead of this series, but their chains get never explained, in anime, they are for warrior class experience boost, basically more exp gains with actions, ainz wears one because he's testing if he can level his warrior class while being a magic caster.

Also the shear fact that someone was able to control shaltear who is an undead that is resistant to mind control is scary to ainz in itself.

Well you underestimate how strong shaltear is and how much resources he had to use to take shaltear down. Shit ainz was close to losing, because he was hesitating to take down his own children in shaltear and aura used her skill to distract shaltear because she saw that ainz was hesitating and that was the eye thing you saw at the end of the fight that you were like “what was that”
