Gintama is not something you can say "now what can I watch that's like gintama?" This is it, this is the peak in anime. And it's not even the peak for the series.

2022-02-17 18:29:37 +0000 UTCOne thing I did for myself is that I replaced all bullets in Gintama with rubber bullets in my mind and these people are sturdier than normal people so everything makes sense now. The mother being dismissive of the younger son because her first son was unfortunate was a bit lackluster in execution. This was done so well in Dororo. I think you guys have seen it but should definitely do if you haven't.

2022-02-17 07:18:04 +0000 UTCMy only complaint about this arc is the really egregious Stormtrooper aiming, but the Gintama mangaka really is the king of the tone shift. 50 episodes of comedy and then he decides to drop peak shonen arcs out of nowhere for 4 or 5 episodes before switching back to comedy mode
