Honestly, after watching all 23 episodes of the main series, I've got a name for it. "Nature vs Nurture: the series"; because holy FUCK there's always some shit happening to the parents or they just SUCK because their childhood sucked lmao. Only one I'm iffy on so far is Queen Hilling's folks as we haven't seen hers yet but she seems well adjusted to a point so I'd assume her parents are decent people as well. Don't know about Bojji's dad's parents but from what I've seen of him and how he and his, uh, mate (Bojii's mom), acted, I think it's a different mentality for giants. Like they'll settle together but it doesn't feel like their bond was that strong. There's also a lot of plot holes not withstanding. One second his dad takes his first son's power, next he decides to give him a kingdom to compensate because he felt bad, then he has another son to steal the body of so he can be king again and give Miranjo a kingdom, I think? Then he decides "naw, that's scuffed" and gives his son's body back after another emotional whirlwind and getting folded by Bojji. If I'm remembering correctly. It was a great series though, really pulled at the heartstrings at times and gets you thinking. Miranjo got off WAY too easy though she needs to be on an apology tour ASAP.
