log horizon is a show that you have to binge. its slow but multiple episodes kinda work together to make it interesting. if you watch them one at a time, you might get bored with it.

The first few episodes might seem edgy and plain but you will get pulled into the world eventually. Probably the only other isekai anime that came similar to this is "How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom"

All these level 90 characters are serious min/maxers, and it's the kind of game where solo play just isn't doable for the hard content. Must have a team. So it talks alot about teamwork, rhythm, and strategy. Would definitely be excited to see y'all watch more when you can

2022-03-31 20:25:15 +0000 UTCA lot of people had a problem with this anime because they said it was boring because they talked too much what I found truly awesome about this anime is the fact that they talked and explained everything about the world building about the character building and how the game works when the action and fighting hit it did hit hard but there are a lot of talking which I truly enjoyed

2022-03-31 16:23:48 +0000 UTCI've always found Log Horizon to be pretty solid. By no means the best in the isekai genre, but still really solid and lots of fun. The main thing I really like is that it's one of the few "trapped in a game" series where you genuinely feel as though it's a working video game and the people trapped inside are acting like real people would. If thousands of gamers suddenly got trapped into a game you absolutely would have groups of people instantly working to abuse game systems, you'd have people treating NPC's like they still don't have souls and thinking it's just a game still, and you'd have people desperate to escape and willing to do anything. Too many isekai just have the characters accept being stuck in the new world and instantly adapt. Log Horizon actually forces the players to adapt to this new world and it takes them a surprisingly long time to actually do so. The story and characters of Log Horizon are hit or miss sometimes, but the world is really cool.

You have only yourselves to blame for watching this series. Clearly. But for real though, this series is what SAO would be like if an actual gamer wrote it.
