I feel like part of the joke is they made such a long arc about nonsense to clown the audience. Sometimes I feel like the reader/watcher is the butt of the joke in Gintama. We got clowned.

I think she was trying to make a comeback in 2020. King Kong is a comedy duo that had a tv show in the timeslot after Gintama until it ended, lol. Hannya is another comedy duo. EXILE is a large music group known for being large and full of dancers. These Japanese celeb references....ugh, they can make it hard to laugh. 😅 Oh, the new water park was awesome. 👍🏾
