Javon said it best that this is a really relaxing comedy to watch that is mostly slice of life with the introduction of new characters that keep the plot interesting when the episode has one! ^0^

Prior to that, they just did contract work helping out on other shows (like Inuyasha andCrayon Shin-chan) As a side note their slice of life shows (like dragon maid, violet, and Chunnibyou often have better action scenes then most dedicated action anime)

2022-07-23 20:28:25 +0000 UTCI haven't seen a ton of Kyoani, because slice of life isn't usually my jam, but even the shows I don't totally vibe on like K-on have just godly animation. I should really re-visit Haruhi, because I remember it being great. Let's get a new reaction tier to make them watch the full endless 8. Also Full metal Panic rocks, and I had no idea Kyo did the later seasons

2022-07-23 20:25:31 +0000 UTCOh yeah, im pretty sure you've already watched violet evergarden, their only other action anime is beyond the boundary, other than these 2 the rest are sol with beautiful animation, my favorite being K On, Hyouka, Haruhi, and Clannad. Tho Clannad is older so the animation of course isn't as god tier as their 2010+ anime, its still a tearjerking masterpiece that might make u depressed. Also season 2 of dragon maid was one of the best anime anime last year, fucking phenomenal

2022-07-23 20:17:06 +0000 UTCI just rewtched haruhi and it really does hold up well, especially the move. Theyre definetly a "prestiege studio" and everything they do is top tier. They did have an action series though with Full Metal Panic Fumoffu and FMP the second raid. Different studios did the 1st and 4th seasons though. I would say their most famous works are probably haruhi, clannad, k-on and violet evergarden

2022-07-23 19:55:01 +0000 UTCThey're mostly slice of life, but Beyond the Boundary and Violet Evergarden are both really good (violet is also a tearjerker with crazy good animation). Nichijou is also a good comedy. Haruhi Suzumiya is a classic (although I haven't seen it in like 15 years so not sure how it holds up)
