2022-09-15 05:59:53 +0000 UTCYeah, for those who don't know, Pandora's Actor has around 80% the potency of abilities and attributes of whomever he copies. If the dragon makes that huge of an underestimation when actually facing Ainz, it would be a rude awakening.

2022-09-13 23:02:22 +0000 UTCThe trouble with the barrier wasn’t related to strength btw. The barrier only allows you to leave if you have a world item on you or know Wild Magic (the dragon said so), so even a lvl1 human with a world item could exit the barrier. Ainz didnt give his world item (the red orb in his stomach) to Pandora’s Actor, which is why it’s missing during the fight.

He gets to safely learn the strength of any potential threats that come to stop his invasion, while also convincing them that he’s much weaker than he actually is. The dragon thinks he actually has a way to beat Ainz, but that’s entirely based on fighting the weaker Pandora’s Actor. If he were to fight Ainz directly and go in expecting just the strength of Pandora’s Actor he’s going to get absolutely bodied. I really do hope we eventually get to see him and Ainz actually duke it out for real though. I really don’t think there’s anyone out there that can directly beat Ainz in a 1v1, but the dragon’s probably got the best odds and would put on a hell of a show.

2022-09-13 22:36:59 +0000 UTCI personally don't think the dragon is a player (he very well could be idk) but I think since they put so much focus into the name that the person named riku could have been a player instead and maybe they died or something. I just don't see the dragon being a player if he is pronouncing "puh-layer" and hasn't actually given any real hints that he is but more so than anything I am sure the dragon at least knows a player or has known multiple players in the past.

2022-09-13 21:48:33 +0000 UTCSo the dragon has shown up a couple of times throughout the series. First time it was through the armor itself. You see the armor show up when shalltear was acting stupid and ended up getting her mind messed up in season 1 so he was part of that event. Next time we see the dragon himself I think it was in season 2 and he might have shown up some point in season 3. But anyways the dragon was established since season 1. I haven't read the LN or anything so I also was hella confused about how weak ainz seemed when fighting the dragon armor. It also makes sense when you see how albedo was acting. She didn't have the same respect and attitude as she does around the real ainz. Also it makes sense how pandora actor would have some trouble with the barrier but albedo wouldn't because I am pretty sure albedo is a good amount stronger than pandora actor but I also think at the same time pandora actor was putting on more of a show than actually being serious. It was their plan the whole time to just gather information and see if anyone worthwhile would show up like ainz has been trying to do by drawing attention to himself. They think ainz is way weaker than he actually is lol. Even to the point they think that albedo could have been the player instead.
