2022-12-21 17:14:55 +0000 UTCBecause it is admittedly extremely jarring if you aren't prepared for the tone shift. Especially because it gets really serious, then really comedic, then mostly serious. Nothing I said had spoilers, there is still quite alot to "find out on their own".

2022-12-21 14:32:32 +0000 UTCNot misleading. I have watched the show and read it atleast 8 times front to back. I also didn't say the final arc was exempt of comedy. But it is the longest by far. So it is probably the same amount of comedy in an eight episode stretch. Next time I request that you read what someone writes, not what you assumed they wrote. Hope this helps!

2022-12-21 11:51:38 +0000 UTCA demon has no right to cut a fellow demon. Gintama has the hardest lines ever. We just get a small peak into his past this arc which came full circle with Aesemon. Without a doubt a top 10 arc, and each arc in the top 10 is nothing less than a 10. You'll be witness the greatest peak in fiction in a little over 10 episodes

2022-12-21 10:39:13 +0000 UTCA few things for the Reanimated crew: #1: Episode 300 is the start of every answer you guys want for the story. It is also where Gintama went through a massive tone shift. The show gets really serious real quick. 300-328 handle all of the backstories and buildup for the entire show and lead directly into the final arc. #2: There is a break for a bit of comedy breather episodes at 329-341. Episodes 342-The Very Final movie cover the last arc of the show. The final arc was Avengers Endgame before Endgame actually existed. It's (In my opinion) the best ending of any show besides Code Geasse.
