Damn, unless it's going in the beginning of next episode which is possible, They did Blade Dragon dirty ๐ญ. They skipped his whole background and then his introduction with small yellow hair guy. It showed his rational side and his ima fuckin bad-ass side, which made the hand-chopping scene way more awing in the manga as it felt so unexpected for a man of his caliber. I'm kinda interested to see how their duo will develop tho, I really liked their interaction. Good ep tho

He got laid and then killed the courtesan before she could literally eat him. That and she was probably among the weaker of the Red Seals. But do you really think ANYONE could handle the giant? Probably not. Dude could have been one of the higher ranked Asaemon for all we know, which is probably why he was assigned to the giant, but he's basically invulnerable, and huge. I don't think losing to that behemoth really means anything. Which makes me wonder how he got captured lol. It's like if Hashira were assigned to watch over Upper Moons in this situation. A Hashira assigned to Daki or Gyutaro would have an easier time than a Hashira assigned to Kokushibo.

2023-04-15 21:52:38 +0000 UTCI can see them slowing the amount of chapters adapted per episode honestly, just taking it fast at the start to get the ball rolling then hit a more moderate stride. 127 issues in the 3 or 2 seasons you point out is definitely possible but I can see it hitting an higher episode count than that, I mean they barely reached 1/3rd of the content in chainsaw man pt1 which is 97 chapters iirc in the first season.

2023-04-15 20:30:26 +0000 UTCFYI, Manga is 127 chapters. So if they make 13 episodes for Season 1 Part 1, then 4-5 instalments of 13 episodes should be enough. Skipping the monk-guy's impalement is the same as in the manga. But they did skip some dialogue and a few interactions (the Ghu ritual one had some great visuals) which aren't major but do add some extra flavor in the manga. Simple example, during the conversation between the Blade Dragon and the small yellow-haired Asaemon, our boi threatened the big guy and when he sensed his bloodlust, the Blade Dragon envisioned his face being dissected from the center outwards.
