I also don't think that he shared his possible revelation with Ruby about their father cause he even said right before he pieced it all together that Ruby would bounce back from this. That she has that courage and drive to be like their mom to keep her positive. He didn't want her to go down the same route that he is headed cause he knows that it could be the end of this life eventually.๐ค

And he was the only one who saw Ai die. If I remember correctly they said the paramedics and cops shielded Ruby from seeing the body so Aqua was the only one who saw her light go out
