Fun Fact sayaka's witch design is a mermaid which the author made to a reference to the oringal story of "The Little Mermaid" where the mermaid turned into sea foam for the man she loved that ended up with another woman. He took inspiration from that story and put it into sayaka's witch where she too sacrifed herself for the man she loved only for her love to get snached away like in the story "The Little Mermaid" Also Kyouko's witch form was a centaur form while Sayaka was a mermaid form which were sybols that appeared in the show at 15:54
