Apologies and excuses

Hey, guys, I haven't updated in a while, and I wanted to, first of all, apologize for that; A combination of the release of Overwatch, a sudden and unexpected obsession with Dark Souls (I never got into it before, but I tried playing the first game a couple weeks ago and now I'm hooked for good), and a new deadline on my non-adult work have all conspired against me producing a steady stream of commissions like I promised.

I've honestly felt kinda shitty the past few days; inability to focus, a severe lack of motivation or passion for working on projects, etc. It may just be me getting burnt out a little, which is what made me turn to vidya for several hours a day, just so I didn't have to think or plan or worry about composition and color theory and perspective and all that jazz (also financial stress has been making me want to curl up in a ball and cry, but that's a story for another day).

Anyways, just wanted to give you guys something so you're not left in the dark; I'm still here, FiD is on a hiatus right now while I try to get this coloring work out of the way and then slam out all of my commissions. I'll try to update it when I can, but I may not be able to get more than a page or two every week. Even if I get back to fully focusing on FiD, I may only be able to update with 3-4 pages a week, as opposed to the 5 I was doing before. Either that, or I'll have to lower the amount of detail I put into the pages again, reverting back to fewer panels and a lot more splash pages :P.

We'll have to see how it works out, but I promise i'm still here and you guys are not being ignored. your commissions will get done, and hopefully once I get some payments sorted out (home repairs and internet bills drained my bank account over the past week), I'll have the money that I thought I was going to have a month ago and ACTUALLY get Princess Spike printed. On my honor, I will fucking print these comics.
