There's a HUGE story behind these characters (350,000 words' worth, at this point), and I do intend to tell it some day, but for now, just know that the girl on the left desperately wishes she could do this with the girl on the right, and this was a little fantastical/wish-fulfillment piece I did for one of the best friends I've ever had to celebrate Valentine's day.
