What do you guys think about the halftone effect I've started applying to these? I really love it; adds a little texture to things, but it can make things a little harder to read sometimes. Y'all prefer this, or the old solid flat greys?

I love manga specifically because of halftones. American comics don't really do anything like it. I used to edit fan translations of random Japanese doujins and halftones are a nightmare and a half to redraw, especially on low-quality raw scans, but I still think they're beautiful.

Rarity's hair in its signature swirls, but slightly ragged and tousled; the powerful sexual strength and energy of her pose in the leading panel; the tight control she's holding Fluttershy under; that *look* she's giving Flutters in panel two. Fuck yeah, Baku! Halftones are kind of a jarring change. I don't see them often, so I'm really not all that used to them. You're definitely using them well. It looks to me like they're working slightly better in the Patreon preview of the page than they do in the fully blown up view, but that's halftones for ya; resolution is everything.
