Presumably, coloring styles would vary in appropriateness from picture to picture. A chaotic action scene would benefit from a more "comic-book" style, while two characters cuddling might look better with a softer coloring. Rather than try to stick to one single style, why not pick the most appropriate color for the pic? But what the hell do I know, I can't draw for Jack.
