Patreon is, indeed, considered fraudulent by a lot of banks
Added 2018-08-02 20:13:35 +0000 UTCHey, guys, a few more people have posted about this, and apparently Patreon did something funky with their banking, which is causing a lot of banks to flag patreon payouts as fraudulent.
Unfortunately, there's not really much I can do on my end; if your pledge ended up getting rejected unexpectedly, you may need to go contact your bank to explicitly tell them that this IS indeed an intentional payment. Apparently for most people, just contacting their bank and letting them know that the charge isn't fraudulent manually is enough to get it to go through.
I'm sorry for all the inconvenience if this managed to hit you this month; hopefully we can get it sorted out right quick and get back to the normal swing of things with no major issues.

2018-08-03 00:42:30 +0000 UTCthe only issue is that sometimes Paypal gets finnicky about payments for NSFW content, so they may reject your payment in the future. I don't think that's particularly likely, but it may happen. Hopefully by then the banking situation will be sorted out and we won't have to worry about this anymore.
