Chapter 5: Andy gives a Presentation
“Oh… The roomie finally had some fun!” Cody teased me as I walked inside our apartment at 1 a.m.
He was eating a huge plate of Bolognese pasta and had tomato sauce all over his face.
He was, as usual, only wearing a loose pair of underwear.
“What?”
I was genuinely confused.
My mind had been reeling since I had left the office. I was this close to expect the FBI barging in to question me.
“Wait, bro, don’t tell me you’re coming straight from the office?”
I looked down on my shoes.
“Guilty.”
“Damn! Andy, what are you doing working this late on your first week? Ain’t the election in two freaking years?”
“There’s the nomination first…”
“Yes! In like a year! Right?! What can be so urgent?”
“I have a big presentation to give tomorrow, in front of the entire office.”
“Still, roomie, I’m worried about you. Seriously.”
In other circumstances, I would have probably explained myself further but there, only one thing was occupying my brain space.
“Cody, can you keep a secret?”
He slurped on a pasta.
Trying to stay objective here, he was very cute.
“I guess. What’s the matter with you?”
He was speaking as he was chewing.
Less cute, but sexy nonetheless.
“No, I’m for real. Can I tell you something you swear you won’t tell anyone, ever? Not the press, not your friends, not your family, no one.”
“The press? Wow, wow, wow, are you about to confess you’ve just killed someone? Cause I’m not sure we’re that close to share something like that.”
I rolled my eyes and I let myself collapse on the sofa.
I was exhausted.
“Just forget it…”
“You’re weird, man. What is it?”
“I suppose you wouldn’t give a fuck anyway. You don’t really care about politics, do you?”
“Nah… I vote for the presidential elections every four years and that’s about it. Is Crown the one who killed someone?”
“No, although, I bet some of his voters might think that what I’ve seen is even worse than murder.”
“Nice! Now, you have my attention. Sounds like a juicy gossip.”
Cody jumped on the couch next to me, his cock bouncing in his underwear.
He was truly packing a heavy piece of meat between his legs. Again, only trying to remain objective here.
“I really shouldn’t say anything but I feel like I’m about to explode.”
“Listen, dude, I’m a little drunk so I’ll probably have forgotten all about it tomorrow.”
He did seem a little tipsy.
“You went out? And you’re spending the night by yourself?”
“It’s been a disappointing night but let’s not change the subject. Tell me what you know!”
I looked at him, assessed the situation, and I decided I could trust him.
In the end, it all came down to the fact that I had to talk to someone or I would have gone insane.
“Crown was cheating on his wife in his office. I caught him when I left.”
“The dog!” Cody laughed.
“That’s not all… It was with a dude, a guy about our age!”
“The sneaky, hypocrite dog!”
“I know, right, what a way to embrace the conservative values!”
“Ain’t every single Republican senator been caught fucking with one of their assistants at one point or another though? He’s just trying to fit in!” He joked.
“Not every single one of them but it does seem like there’s a pattern here…” I admitted.
“Was the guy getting drilled cute? Unless, Mister the Politician was the one taking it in the ass?”
Cody was laughing his ass off while I was crumbling down.
Did not he understand the stakes here?
“Man, you don’t get it. That’s serious! I’m gonna get fired.”
“For what?”
“He saw that I saw him. I’m screwed!”
“And I thought you were a smart guy… Dude, you have all the power now.”
“What do you mean?”
“You told me you had a big presentation tomorrow? Well, you don’t have to worry about it anymore.”
“Still not following…”
“If Crown gets on your nerves, you end your presentation with a tale about what you saw tonight. He’ll piss himself! Your life will get much easier, I can tell you that much.”
“I would never do that.”
“But he might think that you would! And that’s enough!”
He had a point but I felt cringy about the situation.
“That’s literally blackmail, not my thing… Besides, the man has an 18 years-old son, I’m not going to destroy their family.”
“You don’t have to. Bro, you’re overthinking this way too much. He’s the one who should feel embarrassed, not you.”
“I suppose you’re right. I… I was just not expecting this.”
“I don’t know, that man looks way too good to be an honest fella. I’m not that surprised he’d get some on the side.”
I chuckled.
“To be fair, the guy he was… Well, fooling around with, was cute too.”
“Fooling around! What are you, 12?” Cody mocked me.
“Shut up… I shouldn’t have told you about this.”
“Come on, I’m sure you feel better now. Besides, who would I tell and what could I say anyway? It’s not like you gave me pictures or videos.”
“That’s fair… Circling back to your previous point, it’d be his word against mine.”
“Honestly, roomie, stop worrying so much about your work and start living a little.”
“I’m trying.”
He gave me a look.
“I swear, it’s not that easy! But I do want to get myself out there more.”
“Come by the Impero tomorrow night, it’s right next to your office so you don’t have any excuse. The vibe on Friday nights is very chill. Plus, Darius will be the chef.”
“If I’m not fired, I’ll pass by.”
Cody stood up from the couch.
“And don’t forget to bring that hot colleague of yours.”
“Laurie?”
“Yes, Laurie!”
“She did ask me about you, you know.”
He jumped back on the couch, all excited.
“And you’re telling me that only now? Who cares about your boss cheating on his wife?! What did she say about me?”
“Dang, calm down, barely nothing. I guess she finds you attractive.”
Cody was smiling to his ears.
“Attractive. That’s interesting.”
He flexed his biceps.
“Please though, she’s my only friend in the city. Don’t fuck this up, I don’t wanna find myself in the middle of something.”
He drunkenly kissed my forehead.
“I thought we had established you and I were friends too. And you’re not fooling me, I bet you’d like to be stuck in the middle of that sandwich!”
He thrust himself against me playfully.
“Don’t even go there.”
I pushed him away and he then tickled me.
We ended up sort of wrestling on the couch, I was feeling his cock rubbing all over me, until we both slid down on the floor and Cody found himself on top of me.
For a split second, it seemed like there could have been something there.
“Okay, I’ll let you go to sleep. You need the rest for the big presentation.”
He released me from his grip as I was all flustered.
“Go to sleep too, and drink a lot of water before that, think about your hangover tomorrow.” I told him.
“You’re right. Good night bro.”
*
As expected, when I woke up the next day, there was so sign of Cody aside for a light snoring I could hear from the kitchen.
I had barely slept myself, imagining and replaying the worst scenarios in my head.
I had no idea of how David Crown would react to seeing me and what would happen next.
Besides, I had all these dirty thoughts about taking the place of Galvin…
How good it would have felt being locked in that office with my boss…
How I could have serviced him…
As planned, I arrived very early at the office and I tried to focus on my work.
Laurie came in with pastries about an hour later that she shared with the entire floor. She knew how to be appreciated.
Honestly, the croissant she brought from a French bakery gave me life and made me feel so much better.
Bless her.
I glanced at David and Rebecca Crown both coming in together at around 10 a.m. but as usual, they locked themselves into their respective offices.
As the nerves were getting to me, I kept thinking of the worst-case scenario. Somehow, my mind would always go there.
If all went to shit and I was indeed fired, I could at least leave with a bang.
“Well, Rebecca, maybe instead of being so harsh on your employees, you should ask your husband what he was doing with Galvin yesterday night!”
I had done that since forever, running dialogues and imagining fights in my head which would never happen in real life.
The pathetic truth was, even if I were to be mistreated during the meeting, I would never dare to throw something like that.
It was not really my style to be bold and spontaneous.
“Breathe, Andy. It’s a just a presentation and I’m sure it’s not that bad.” Laurie told me before it was time.
She was right, my project was pretty decent actually, I simply had to get myself together.
“I… I’m good. I’ll present the main data points that I think we should all focus on and then I… I mean, that’s it, it shouldn’t that hard.”
Laurie smiled at me.
“Exactly. You’ve got this.” But then she added in a softer voice: “Please, do a good job, you’re the first friendly co-worker I’ve had here.”
“I’ll do my best not to get dismissed.”
We were eventually called for the meeting and guess what happened in the end…
Absolutely nothing of significance!
As it turned out, I had once again done what I did best: making a mountain out of a molehill, and obsessing over something barely anyone actually cared about.
People seemed more concerned with raising their own points and looking smart for Rebecca than judging my plan.
I stammered and I was visibly anxious (and sweating a lot…) at the beginning of my presentation but by the end of it, feelings in the room were going from stolid faces to genuine enthusiasm.

Philips was a good sport, saying, and I quote, “that these surveys will help tremendously in driving the campaign and defining our main policies for the next few months”.
David Crown who had not shown the slightest change since I had caught him the night before politely nodded all throughout.
And even Rebecca looked satisfied.
“It’s not finished yet but I’m pretty aligned with everything laid out so far. Frankly, White, you could have kept working on your own and present this to us next week.”
“I wanted to make sure the project was matching everyone’s expectations and I am of course happy to hear any feedback to improve before we launch the collection of the data and the actual surveys.”
Rebecca looked at the 14 people sitting across the room, including her husband.
“One of you has anything to add?”
Dead silence.
“Good then, you can just keep going, White. We aim at hiring a team to call in potential voters by the end of next week so make sure we have everything ready by then.”
I was so relieved.
More than this, having a “good” from Rebecca Crown was like receiving a “congratulations for your amazing work” from anyone else.
Some of the older folks around the office seemed a little bitter but other than that, I would call this presentation an outstanding success.
I felt like a weight had been lifting off my shoulders and suddenly, everything seemed like it was going to be okay.
Corporate life is idiotic sometimes.
The silliest stuff can take the craziest proportions and the one compliment can make your day.
With this new positive outlook, I did ask Laurie if she wanted to come with me to the Impero after work.
I had to keep my promise to Cody to pass by if I was not being fired.
“Just saying, my roommate did mention he’d like you to be there.” I told her, knowing that it would make Laurie happy.
“Oh… So maybe I should put some make-up on?”
“Don’t ask me tips on those types of things. I’m gay, I’m not sure what a straight man would like best.”
“Yes, you’re gay. You’re supposed to know about clothes and make-up! You guys have invented drag.”
“I probably watched twenty seasons of Drag Race at this point but I still don’t understand the difference between blush and contouring.”
She puffed.
“You’re helpless, but I shouldn’t be surprised, a guy who’s that good with hard numbers is rarely very good with fashion.”
“Hey! I know how to dress… Sort of.”
“Same beige pants and white shirt every day, same boring tie… What an astonishing style! Let me call Anna Wintour so you can give her an interview in the next issue of Vogue.”
“Shut up, I… To be honest, I’ve never dared wearing anything which might make me stand out.”
“That’s a shame. You look good, Andy, show it to the world. You have swimmers’ shoulders, I can tell.”
I chuckled.
“Now, I feel like you’re hitting on me.”
“Have I ever told you about my middle-school boyfriend who’s now married to my brother?”
“Ouch…”
We both laughed it out.
“At least, he did meet the love of his life thanks to me.” She said jokingly.
“I guess… Good for them. And I’ll try, honestly, I want to get out of my comfort zone more often.”
Other than the dreaded morning meeting, the rest of the day was rather uneventful and flew by.
At the very least, for once, I would get to come home sooner and I had plans.
See, I was getting better at life!
At 6 p.m., Laurie and I packed our stuff to go have our drink at the Impero.
We were literally about to hop in the elevator when I heard someone calling my name.
“Andy!”
Shit.
I recognized his voice without having to look at him.
It was the ultimate hunk daddy, Mr. David Crown himself, calling me.
I turned my face towards him.
“Yes, Sir?”
“I see you’re going; Would you mind coming in my office? I swear, Laurie, I’ll give him back to you soon enough. I won’t need more than five minutes.”
“No problem, take your time. I’ll wait for you in the lobby, Andy, okay?”
I almost begged her to stay with me.
I was mortified at the idea of being alone with David Crown. Rebecca was inside her office next door. Anything could happen.
But obviously, I just pretended it was fine.
“Sure… See you in a bit.”
I watched Laurie get into the elevator without me, and I felt my heart pounding.
“My office?” Crown suggested.
“Of course, let me follow you.”
Notwithstanding the fact that I was freaking out, I could still appreciate walking behind David Crown and his spectacular back.
Maybe it was not that bad to be trapped in his office?
I remembered my naughty thoughts… I remembered how despite the lack of sleep, I had deal with a strong morning wood.
After seeing him shirtless on pictures and, ever so briefly, in real life, the sex machine energy exuding from David felt even realer.
As I saw his desk, I could only think about having him right there a few hours prior, semi or fully naked.
Despite having played the image in my head hundreds of times, the memory was blurry and I could not say if he had been wearing underwear or not.
Only his hairy chest was still vividly printed in my brain.
And what a chest!
Crown did not sit behind his desk but rather leant against it while looking at me.
“How has your first week been, Andy?”
“It’s been great, I’m very happy to be here.”
He smiled.
Damn, he looked so freaking good.
After the athlete and the fragrance model, he was starting to make me think about a hot soap-opera’s stud.
You know the type of actors they would have shirtless in every single scene.
I had never been able to watch a full episode without falling asleep but the clips from the shameless hunks I could find on YouTube had fed many of my jerk-off sessions.
“I’m glad to hear that, you seem well integrated within the team. Having a drink with Laurie tonight?”
“Yes, she’s been super welcoming with me.”
“I bet she has… Laurie is a great girl. Oh well, maybe I shouldn’t say that, we shouldn’t get too personal, right?”
I wondered if he was still talking about Laurie or if this was his segway to another more pressing topic.
“Private and work life is always a tough balance.” I mentioned, not too sure where I was going with that.
“Surely… Especially when you work with your wife.”
I remained silent there.
As often, I considered that my best course of action was to do nothing at all.
Sometimes, it paid off.
“Rebecca and I have been very impressed with your presentation this morning by the way.”
“Thank you, I appreciate it. I still have some work to do on the project and putting it in practice will be the real challenge but the team is great.”
“Yes, everyone’s doing a tremendous job, from the donations department, to the policies, to the communication… I’m very proud of our people.”
I barely knew what anybody else was doing, except for Philips who was the main advisor on the policies and who was therefore basically in charge of writing the political stances for the Crowns.
This is why he probably needed my data more than anyone else.
“It’s my first time working directly with a candidate and not with a firm supporting the candidate. It’s quite exciting.” I explained, trying to have a casual chit chat.
“Exciting… Yes, it can get pretty intense but I like the atmosphere also.”
He winked at me.
This time around, I had not imagined it.
David Crown had really winked at me.
Was he trying to get friendly with me? To intimidate me? Or maybe… To flirt with me?
In any case, I was once again speechless.
David Crown did not seem to mind the long awkward silence. He was looking straight at me, seemingly scanning through my soul with his incredible blue eyes.
I was just standing there, probably looking like an idiot.
Also, I had a spontaneous hard-on and I was afraid it would show.
This might seem out of place but any man would get this, those types of spontaneous erections would always come at the worst possible moments.
Because I was unable to keep staring at his eyes, I looked a little below and found myself glancing at the politician’s bulge instead.
It looked quite full.
Maybe he was hard too?
As my eyes were fixating on his crotch, I saw it moving… Wait… What? Oh, right, the man was walking towards me.
I felt his hand on my shoulder and it sent electric waves throughout my entire body.
Jesus Chris, was I this weak?!
I was tall but David was still taller than I was, he had a couple more inches on me.
“I also wanted to take this time to personally thank you for your discretion.”
There we were.
“My… My discretion.” I muttered.
“I think we both know what I’m referring to. We do not need to talk about this out loud, do we?”
“No, Sir… We absolutely don’t… I, I fully understand.”
He tightened his hold.
At first, I thought he was trying to scare me but then, it felt more like a sensual caress than anything else.
After all, I knew that he enjoyed the company of younger men… Could I be his type?
“Nice shoulders.” He whispered.
Second time that day that someone was praising my shoulders.
Although, I must say, it was much more meaningful when it was coming from David Crown.
I was this close to grab his bulge which was now only an inch from my trembling fingers.
“Thank you, Sir.”
He grabbed my chin and forced me to look up to his face.
Up close and personal, it was even more difficult not to get hypnotized by his eyes.
His lips too, I noticed, looked delicious.
“No need to call me Sir… At work, people just call me David, only in bed, some of my lovers like to refer to me as Sir… Or as Daddy.”
I was dying inside.
Or more accurately, I had never felt more alive.
My cock throbbed in my pants.
Did he really just say this? While his wife was only a few feet away from us?
“I… I wouldn’t mind calling you Sir…. In bed…”
Of all the things that happened so far, my own boldness surprised me the most.
I did not mean for those words to come out of my mouth, I did not anticipate I would say anything like it, and I was mostly in a deep state of shock.
For once, Crown seemed a bit startled as well.
He swallowed his saliva.
“I had a feeling you wouldn’t mind… But one can never be sure…”
He let go of me and took a step back.
Frankly, if he had not, I think I might have gone for a sloppy kiss.
I know, it would have been a crazy and totally unacceptable impulse, but I had just said the most insane sentence so I could not really trust my own behavior anymore.
“I… I won’t say a thing. I haven’t seen anything.” I told him.
“Good. Listen, the last thing I want is to make anyone feel uncomfortable, especially in the work place and especially in regards to an employee who is doing such an excellent job.”
He readjusted his pants as he spoke, there was no longer any doubt that he was rock-hard.
Damn it… He was packing an anaconda in this pair of tight underwear; the whole thing was about to burst.
To be fair, I was heavily precumming in my own underwear.
I could feel my juice pouring.
Would that make a stain?
“I’m fine, Sir… I mean, I’m fine, David.”
He grinned.
“I won’t hold you any longer. Laurie must be waiting for you.”
“Oh, yes…”
I had completely forgotten about the drink and the night out.
“Just so we’re clear, I’m interested but if anything should happen, it would have to come from you and it would have to be completely separated from work.” He spoke.
I swallowed hard.
David was back to leaning against his desk, facing me, his hands were on each side of his waist, meaning that he was offering me an unencumbered view to his prominent crotch.
The invitation could have not been clearer.
“Understood.”
“Great then, I guess I’ll see you on Monday.”
It took me a few seconds to understand that I was overstaying my welcome.
The politician did not seem in a hurry though, he was casually looking at me, not able to remove the smile from his handsome face.
“Yes… Hum… Yes, see you Monday.” I eventually replied, practically tripping as I was walking through the door.
I also bumped onto something, or rather, someone in the hallway.
“Watch out, White! I thought you were gone?”
Rebecca Crown was standing right in front of me, looking down on me suspiciously.
“I… I was going… David… Hmmm… Mister Crown… He’s just…”
“Oh yes, he told me he wanted to thank you personally from your work this week. He’s a little more gracious than I am, isn’t he?”
That felt like a trap.
“I was just telling him how happy I was to work alongside the entire team.”
She smiled.
It was a rare instance, coming from Rebecca Crown. I was not sure how I was supposed to read this though.
“Have a lovely week-end, White.”
“Thank you, Madam. You too.”
To this day, I have no idea whether she noticed my obvious erection, the light stain on my crotch, or the fact that my face was full-on red from my encounter with her husband.

I love the connection that Cody and Andy are making. Reminds a little of Sam and Oliver. They are adorable together.
