NaNoWriMo: Words By The Numbers

So NaNoWriMo is over and it turned out even more productive than originally planned. In total:

• 18 scenes selected by backers have already been added to 0.9.4 (all but one were in the initial public release, the final day's winner The Machine Goddess/Compu-Cow missed the cut-off for merging, but has been added to discord+hosted versions), totalling 36.7k words and 161 new passages.
• 17 Tester/VIP Reward scenes were written and added to 0.9.4, totally 50.1k words and 222 new passages
• 23.9k words and  of miscellaneous other content was written into 0.9.4

This takes 0.9.4's Oct 31 size of 38.5k words, 245 passages, 50 achievements up to a new total of 148.2k words, 681 passages and 147 achievements. This makes it officially the largest release to date (surpassing 0.8.8's final size of 146k)... but between bugfixes and sneaking in a couple small odds and ends in here and there we should hit the big 150k to make this penultimate release a truly expansive one filling in some long-requested bits and bobs and adding some additional depth.

In total this NoWriMo summed to 110,715 words and 429 passages, averaging 3690 words per day, over double the original "goal" of 50k... but that's not all! Because our lovely other writer/wiki worker, DotVersion2 ALSO did NaNoWriMo for the game, pounding out 60,895 words that will be going into 1.0.0 (pre-release in mid-Dec... we need a bit of time to recharge).

So thank you all who followed, voted, and participated in our crazy NaNo fun... and we hope you enjoy all the new content that just released!

As a final final bonus we will be writing the 3 "runner ups" from the final poll (Interdepartment Training/A Doll's life, The Wonderful Wizard of Tech/Starting the day off right and The Wonderful Wizard of Tech/Alex: Steel) for inclusion in 1.0.0.
