Worst Team of all time

Hey all, here are the details of my 2013 recreation I used in Saturdays stream. To be clear, I could not recommend using this team any less - it is truly an abomination.

Explanation below:

Registeel seemed like the best Pokemon on the team so I started with its set. Iron Defense + Body Press allows it to be extremely threatening - leftovers is useful recovery because it sticks around so long, heavy slam hits Flutter which is the main ghost Pokemon, Protect combos with leftovers and keeps it safe. I maxed out HP, gave it enough defense to survive Urshifu close combat, enough speed to outspeed adamant urshifu in tailwind, and put the rest in special bulk since after an iron defense it should be tanky enough physically. Water seemed like the best tera type due to its resistance to fire and surging strikes, and the fact that most grass moves ATM are physical.

Hippowdon was intended to work as an end-game boss, capable of beating most grounded Pokemon in a 1v1 at the end of the game. I wanted a way for Hippowdon to be threatening if the opponent ignored it, so I settled on yawn and sand tomb - while they work together, they're also threatening on their own. Slack Off was needed to 1v1 things with sandstorm and sand tomb which does a surprising amount of damage. EVs are simple, you get the most points from a +def nature but I invested mostly in special defense because Hippowdons special defense stat is way lower. Tera water resists the ice and water moves Hippowdon is weak to and gives it a good matchup against Urshifu-W.

Gliscor was the weakest member of the team (which is saying something). Because its stats are so bad, it was really hard to make it feel good. I intended for Gliscor to be one of the answers against Gholdengo, and it's pretty good against Pokemon like Landorus Amoonguss Raging Bolt and Incineroar as well. I trained it to be faster than modest Landorus-i, gave it enough attack to hopefully Ko Flutter Mane with +2 dual wingbeat, and put the remaining points in HP. Tera Steel gives it the most resistances including ice, plus it's only weak to fighting fire and ground, all of which Gliscor matches up well against pre-tera.

Latios impressed me, it definitely wasn't bad. EVs are simple, max speed and max special attack. I went with this moveset to maximize damage while also giving me at least one speed control option - Tailwind isn't a great move on Latios but there aren't that many good alternatives. Soul Dew was good - I used Life Orb for most of my testing but you only lose 10% damage by using Soul Dew with these moves, and you save a lot of HP. Tera Steel allows Latios to resist Fairy moves and to completely wall the standard Landorus-i set which was really nice. 

Magmar is somehow the Pokemon on this team I used the most recently - I took my specially bulky set that I'd been using in testing from that team and kept everything else the same. Nothing new here to be honest, tera grass to give me a follow me spore immune because nothing else on this team can handle spore.

Rotom-Wash was another weaker link, though it ended up being OK. I gave it max speed to outspeed adamant scarf Urshifu, enough special attack to probably KO with thunderbolt, and put the rest in HP. I considered Will-O-Wisp or thunder wave but in the end decided that Trick was the most useful fourth move. I used Specs for awhile but the team was so slow that I decided to switch to Scarf just so I could have SOMETHING above 178 speed stat. Tera Ghost or Tera Grass were clearly best, I went with ghost to avoid fake out in the end, which also allowed me to hard-wall the standard Ursaluna set.

That's everything, don't use this team PLEASE it is so unbelievably bad.
