Information on an upcoming feature: Shop (and poll)

Patreon been sending some mails from their newsletter about an upcoming feature. This new feature is called "your shop". Shop works like "gumroad" where the creator can put something there so others can purchase what they do. It's been out for some creators already but wasn't accessable for most (i didn't have this feature as well). A few hours ago, i got a notice about i can use this feature now.

At first, i wasn't sure what exactly this is so i started to search some info and i wanted to let you guys what i have found and what this shop thingy is.

First of all, my focus is and always will be monthly Custom Sims, Cam Star and Gentleman Sims, Townie Makeovers, monthly gift sims etc.

I'm planning to make 1 or 2 extra sims every now and then, and put them on the shop for the ones who are interested in getting some extra characters.

Remember, buying from the shop is not a must. You will still get your monthly 17+ sims, gifts, townie makeovers, cam stars', gentlemen etc. Shop is for those who wishes to get something extra, for those who'd like to buy something they like from there. Again, it's not obligatory.

I started making 12 sims for $5. Then, before i realize, i started making monthly 15, then 20 then 25 and more sims a month. Some months, it even reaches to 27-28 sims with gifts. And i know that what helps me to keep going is your support, your kind messages and comments. I sincerely appreciate your support. Without you, it wouldn't be possible to come this far. You guys are amazing!! ♥

I will be transparent about how the shop works:

First, i can't put anything below $3 (patreon has a minimum price limit on shop, not my decision). Patreon cuts a portion of the price as fee + tax. I'm not instructed with the numbers yet but let's say if i put an item for $3, i'll probably get around $2 or maybe a little more or a little less.

Second, i'm not planning to return and sell the old rewards, old modeling sims and gifts. But, if there's a high demand on a specific character (not like bring old rewards back all at once but like getting messages like "hey, you had X character back then, would you want to put it on shop because i wasn't a patron at that time") i might consider returning it. But plan is not heavily on that side. Time will tell.

Third, the sims i will put up there will not be on a fixed price. An item can be $3, can be $5 or can be $10 (example prices). But there won't be anything above $10 for 1 item only. Price cap will be $10 for 1 sim but i'm planning on lower prices than $10 tbh (unless there'd be something way too precious).

Fourth, bundles. Let's say, i have 3 sims on the store and all of them $5 each. Buying all three costs $15. Every now and then, i will make them into a bundle and 3 items will be in price of 2 (or a little more), which is $10. Again, these prices are ONLY examples. I haven't decided on them yet.

Fifth and last, i won't be putting 10 items at a time because working on monthly sims already taking a LOT of my time. A few sims every now and then. And maybe, they can even rotate (like skins in some of the online games- ie: lol, valorant, overwatch, apex etc.). 3 sims for a month, then they will be taken down, then another 1-2 sims, then taken down and different 2-3 etc. I haven't worked on the details yet.

Once again, my focus is and always will be monthly Custom Sims, Cam Star and Gentleman Sims, Townie Makeovers, monthly gift sims etc.
