Life & Situational Update

Hi everyone. I hope you all are doing great so far. :)

I was planning to make this update a little later on, like next week. But i guess i wanted to talk about my life and my situation a bit. So please, if you have a little spare time, hear me out :)

I've been in a car accident a couple years ago. I was severely injuired from different parts of my body. But my worst injury was my leg, which made me unable to walk for many months. Even after couple of surgeries and long physiotherapy sessions, i was barely able to walk. I started to work from home but then covid hit and i lost my job too. Bills were piling up and my family could support me only so much. After all, my mother is a single mom and she also has two underage kids (my sister and my step-sister) to take care of. That was when i started to share my sims, to be able to support my basic needs, even if it's just a little, i had to do something.

Started from so little but in some time, thanks to all of your support and love, i was able to afford food and pay my bills. I can never thank you enough for your support. ♥

Fast forward, i was still having surgeries. Pain was unbearable but i had to hold on. I had to live. I was able to walk but barely. I even have sticks to help me walk :') After all, life is too precious and we are having only one life. At some point, i wish to end all the misery and pain but well, i'm still alive!! :)

After every surgery, even though doctors were so positive that it would allow me to gain my ability to walk properly again, Months.. years passed but i'm still same. My disability still giving me extremely hard time to find a job. Sometimes i find temporary jobs and they are not paying well at all. Life is taking it's toll from all of us, including me :') And my health is getting worse by week. :')

I have always been transparent about what i am doing behind the scenes. I always asked what you guys want. Made polls about some future sims and themetics, asked your opinion about some upcoming changes, features etc. And shop was one of them.

Honestly, i never thought there would be an alternative like shop. At first, i sent a message to a dear friend, long time supporter of mine. The person who's always there for me whenever i sent a message to them. Asked their opinion and they were positive about it. So, i made a public post to ask your opinion. Thankfully, it was positive for the majority of participants.

I was happy to be honest. To be able to help to support and pay my basic living expenses such as bills and food and my painkillers, physiotherapy.. maybe some new clothes every now and then. Thankfully, shop did good sales so far. But of course, there are some of my supporters who are not enjoying the shop. I can't ignore their wishes. After all, you guys are the boss :-)

Even though my main focus is monthly sims and gifts and makeovers and all, i thought it would be cool to share some sims on the shop. This way, whoever wishes to get something extra from the shop, they could get it. And in return, i could make some extra income for my basic living expenses.

But again, i'm not going to act against your wishes. At the moment, there's only 2 items on the shop which will be staying there at the end of the 11th of August.

After 11th of August, i won't upload sims to shop (I'll still share monthly sims). I won't be putting any new sims to shop. However, every now and then, i'll upload only some of the old rewards/gifts to store. So that who couldn't support me at that time and couldn't get the gift in the past, can get a second chance. Though, this won't be often.

UPDATE: 8.7.23

I'm receiving your messages and i appreciate your feedback and support. My decision on not updating the shop still stands. However, some of you guys asking me to keep the shop open and update it. After long consideration and the feedback i have received, i decided to not close the shop completely but not to update it regularly. From time to time (seldomly), i will upload some sims to there. I'm trying to keep both parties happy and i hope this is the middle ground for both sides.

I hope you guys understand me and i hope you guys be okay with both sides' requests.
