How will this feature change how new patrons are charged?

New Patrons will be charged on the day they become your patron, giving them access to all content shared with their reward tier. On the 1st of the following month, they will simply return to being charged monthly at the beginning of the month.

Example: A patron joins your Patreon community on February 25th for $10 per month. They will be charged $10 on the day they join, February 25th, for February patronage. On March 1st, the Patron will be charged $10 for March patronage.

How will this feature change how existing patrons are charged?

Your existing patrons will be charged on the 1st of the month like usual. If they edit their membership, this won't trigger them to be charged, however, they will be charged their total membership amount on the 1st.

Example: A patron joins your Patreon community on January 5th for $10 per month. The patron is charged on February 1st for January patronage. On February 25th, you change your payment type so that patrons are charged up front. The patron will be charged $10 on March 1st for March patronage.
On the 1st of the month (and every 1st of the month thereafter) they will be charged the full amount of their pledge until they cancel or edit their pledge.

After your first month of charging patrons up front, when a patron increases their membership, they'll immediately be charged the difference between their recent payment and new membership value.

Example: A patron signs up on January 5th for $10/month. On January 25th, you change your payment type so that patrons are charged up front. The patron is charged on February 1st for January patronage. On February 26th, the patron increases their pledge to $15. The patron will be charged $5 on February 26th. Then the patron will be charged $15 on March 1st for March patronage and they will continue to be charged $15 every 1st of the month thereafter until they cancel or edit their pledge.

이 기능은 신규 고객에게 청구되는 방식을 어떻게 변경합니까?

신규 후원자는 후원자가되는 날에 요금이 부과되어 보상 등급과 공유되는 모든 콘텐츠에 액세스 할 수 있습니다. 다음 달 1 일에는 단순히 월초에 매월 청구되는 상태로 돌아갑니다.

예 : 후원자가 월 $ 10에 2 월 25 일에 Patreon 커뮤니티에 가입합니다. 2 월 25 일 가입 당일 2 월 후원금으로 $ 10가 청구됩니다. 3 월 1 일에 후원자에게 3 월 후원금으로 $ 10가 청구됩니다.

이 기능은 기존 고객에게 청구되는 방식을 어떻게 변경합니까?

기존 고객에게는 평소와 같이 매월 1 일에 요금이 청구됩니다. 멤버십을 수정해도 비용이 청구되지는 않지만 1 일에 총 멤버십 금액이 청구됩니다.

예 : 후원자가 월 $ 10에 1 월 5 일 Patreon 커뮤니티에 가입합니다. 후원자는 1 월 후원에 대해 2 월 1 일에 청구됩니다. 2 월 25 일에 고객에게 선불로 청구되도록 결제 유형을 변경합니다. 3 월 후원에 대해 3 월 1 일에 후원자에게 $ 10가 청구됩니다.
매월 1 일 (그리고 그 이후 매월 1 일마다) 서약을 취소하거나 수정할 때까지 전액이 청구됩니다.

고객에게 첫 달 요금을 청구 한 후 고객이 멤버십을 늘리면 즉시 최근 결제 금액과 새 멤버십 가치의 차액이 청구됩니다.

예 : 고객이 1 월 5 일에 $ 10 / 월에 가입합니다. 1 월 25 일에 고객에게 선불로 청구되도록 결제 유형을 변경합니다. 후원자는 1 월 후원에 대해 2 월 1 일에 청구됩니다. 2 월 26 일에 후원자는 약속을 $ 15로 인상합니다. 후원자에게는 2 월 26 일에 $ 5가 청구됩니다. 그런 다음 3 월 1 일에 후원자에게 3 월 후원금으로 $ 15가 청구되며 그 후 서약을 취소하거나 수정할 때까지 매월 1 일마다 $ 15가 계속 청구됩니다.
