Plant monster doodles/brainstorming
Added 2020-09-08 22:58:34 +0000 UTCI'm long overdue for having a plant monster but I've got a very general look down that I'm mostly happy with. Still need to work out the colors and what kind of leaves it's going to have and if I want to change the vines at all or keep them simple.
The little feelers around and in its mouth are used for smell and taste. Gave it a kind of serpentine look because vore reasons. Same with the tongue, though I don't think it'll be forked like a snake. I also want it to be able to see somehow, so maybe an eye can be in the maw, but we'll see.
The 'stomach' will be partially translucent on the stripes and glow from the inside and out. Inside will also be more tentacles/vines.
I'm really excited about this creature because plants and vore are my two biggest artistic strengths, so it'll be really fun to draw lots of art of this fella when it's fully fleshed out.
