I got into a dwarven mood and started putting together a dwarven outpost on the surface, perhaps guarding a pass that leads deeper into their mountainhome. Perched atop a small rise, highly defensible and filled with ale-drinking, beard-twirling, axe-throwing dwarves.
I am planning two floors and a roof, so -- any ideas of what a dwarven outpost should contain as far as purposeful rooms? Anything you would like to see?
On the first level, so far, I have a small barracks (left), hallfway/armory (I mean, is ANY room in a dwarven outpost not ALSO an armory?), Main Room with stairs leading to 2nd Floor, Kitchen in back with access to a sheep farm (collected from the mountains), Formal Dining Hall for the dwarves, Forge (southwest), maybe an Office and Storage Room in the middle.
Thoughts?
