Gangs rule Understreet, a collection of sewer tunnels that have been occupied for years by vagrants, thieves and degenerates, but over the past few years, a handful of charismatic leaders have taken hold among some of the populace, forming three gangs that lay claim to a subset of the tunnels and chambers that lurk below the city.

This map could be used for a variety of purposes:

The party is approached by the local governing official, who claims that crime is rampant and the gangs of Understreet must be made to pay. You will be paid handsomely for delving down below and seeing an end to their leaders. (Once below, however, you may find that not all is as it seems!)

The party is searching for someone, and they are known to be hiding among some friends or family in Understreet. They will have to navigate that society to try and find their quarry, dealing with the dangers of the dark and loyalties of an isolated people.

All manner of things fall into the drains, and a relic of power is said to have recently gone lost into the sewer system. The party is hired to try and recover this before someone else finds it -- or before the gangs acquire it themselves.

The gangs have lived for years in relative peace, but a wererat has recently taken over one of them and has begun a gang war to seize all of Understreet. Family and friends of the rival gangs, fearing for their lives, have taken topside to seek aid.
