This is the Patron Voted Map for April -- a Thieves' Guild headquartered in a brothel and insulated by the neighborhood over which they hold domain.
I've attached (and included) a detailed write-up regarding the brothel and surrounding points of interest. A bit of generic information regarding the map(s):
The map pack contains the following:
> 24 Individual Homes, varying in size from 2 - 10 persons.
> 4 Shops (Exotic Pets, Pawn Shop, Magic Shop & "Bakery" (smuggling front).
> Small Church
> Soup Kitchen & Shelter (mostly for orphans)
> Warehouse operated by the Thieves' Guild
> Bath House and Communal Privies
> The "Bent Coin" Brothel, which serves as both a source of income, information and home to many members of the Guild, its employees and informants.
> Several street markets stands selling fish, oysters and mushroom soup.
> A river, depicting [3] sewer outputs that could be used to gain entry (or depart) the sewers themselves (which connect with the twisting tunnels of the guild headquarters)
> A bridge heading south across the river into a nicer part of town.
> There are several "walkways" from rooftop to rooftop that I decided to show at this level, so it's easy to understand where they are on the map, since players would easily be able to see and potentially access them.
> Assets for all of the rooftops, so you can make them removable from one map in VTT.
> A couple of fun dog tokens. =)
Potential uses of the map:
I wanted to design this map for as many potential uses as possible. Here are a few of the plot hooks and/or uses I tried to include:
> Social encounters at the brothel, shops or individual homes.
> Urban combat encounters located at shops, markets, taverns/brothels, etc...
> Locations for PC backstory family members.
> Encounter map for city-maze or rooftop chase scenarios.
> Social or Combat encounters between the party and a local thieves' guild (with a variety of environments, levels and locations to use).
Tier Rewards will be sent out soon!
I hope you enjoy it!
