Illustration - Assault on Gold Dragon Monastery!

I released the Gold Dragon Monastery and Gold Dragon Lair maps earlier this month and really fell in love with the location, so I've decided to have some supplemental materials created and work toward writing up a one-shot module for it. This will include illustrated scenes, an action illustration (above), some magic item illustrations (to be released later this month), NPC's and probably a new subclass around the monks at this monastery.

I wanted to share one of those completed pieces with you today, Assault on Gold Dragon Monastery, by Clark Ocleasa.

Clark did an amazing job capturing the action of the scene amidst a remote and mystical backdrop, and we tried to integrate as many iconic monk abilities as possible into the fight -- I'd be curious if you can find them. =)

The module will revolve around a Shadow Dragon and his clutch of ninja attempting to steal a powerful artifact held at the Monastery -- something that would be devastating should it come to pass, and will likely involve days leading up to the attack, social challenges within the Monastery, as well as evidence that one or more spies may have infiltrated the Monastery.

I'll post more on that later, but mostly just wanted to share this awesome illustration with you guys, and thank you for your support! It lets me commission other artists to make AMAZING pieces to provide you with even more stuff!
