I release Sarah's unconscious hands, watching as they slap against the tiled floor of the utility closest. "Yes, yes it was. Blech, I can still feel it clinging to the inside of my nose." Kat's voice is muffled through the shirt she'd pulled up over the bottom of her face, but her usual annoyance came through plain as day. Man... It's not like I can tell ahead of time how bad they'll be. I thought it'd be a little squeaker or something not full-blown knockout gas. Still, guess it got the job done. I readjust myself on top of Sarah's face so she can still breathe; occupying my time watching Kat reading over a few loose-leaf pages she had in a little folder in her bag. She absentmindedly paces around this little utility closet we managed to get Sarah into without anyone seeing, a forward operating base for conducting top-secret research as she calls it. Mostly magic stuff. And with Kat's magic we usually need a guinea pig. "Anything I can help with?" Kat stares up from her papers at me, a puzzled look on her face. "Well yes, just not yet. Just lemme know when she wakes up. You're letting her breathe, right?" I shift my back a little to show to Kat I'm more sitting on Sarah's chin. "Airway's clear! See?" She nods, returning to her papers. Ooh so she will need me after all? This is exciting. The last time I had to help Kat with an experiment she slingshot Ashley into my butt. Come to think of it I don't know what that had to do with research... Either way, as long as we can have a little fun. ngh... "Oh oh!" I motion for Kat's attention, pointing down at Sarah's head.
