This past Sunday I went and saw The Lego Batman movie because I got $3 off a ticket for a theater that's part of a mall that's planned to be demolished at some point or another, making the ticket only like $2 something. Wound up paying $6 for a fucking soda, so I kind of negated the deal, but whatever.
So The Lego Batman Movie. It's good. Real good. Not quite to The Lego Movie levels of amazing, but it's pretty hard to get to the levels of fun Lord and Miller create in their works. Regardless, I had a blast, and I highly recommend going to check it out if you like witty humor and poking fun at itself. You also get to see Batman and gang fight against the Eye of Sauron and Voldermort if you like that sort of thing, sort of like how in The Lego Movie you got to see Batman fuck over Han Solo and them and leaving them to die.
