A day late. Sorry about that. Once again I have no excuse. Reason was I got Zelda BotW for Switch and started playing it yesterday while thinking of how to set up this page, and kept telling myself I was gonna stop at certain times.
"Okay, at 4pm let's get off and work on the comic."
"Nevermind, 5."
"6 definitely."
It was 4:14 am when I stopped. So yeah, my bad.
Anyway, let's talk about Zelda BotW because HOOLEEE SHIIIIT! That game is awesome. Feels like when I played OoT and WW as a kid and exploring for the sake of exploring. Of course back then they blocked you from going to places by forcing you to follow the game's predetermined story. BotW? Nah. Once you're off the plateau, the world's your oyster. One way to paint a picture as to how open it is: at only 4 hearts and two strength upgrades, I ran through Hyrule Castle and climbed to the very top spire of the castle overlooking everything. Also accidentally stumbled into the final battle. Got pretty far by playing as if it was Dark Souls. Of course I died, but hey!
As of now I I'm about halfway done main quest wise, though I imagine I'll delay my real Hyrule Castle run until way later, just to keep some sort of goal in the background while I do other things, as I imagine the spark to explore will go away once I "complete" it.
End of this week the sequel to the second best video game OF ALL TIME is coming out, so I gotta get through Zelda before that hits shelves.
*Best is Half-Life. Fucking come at me.
