Ths begins the 3 part not canon short story.
I had a few ideas swimming around in my head that kept constantly changing. The idea I had floating around up until the last second was of Kevin putting on a bodysuit of Angela and checking himself out, only for Angela to find out and get rightfully pissed. But I thought that was kind of boring/predictable. I mean, sure, it'd be fun, but it's not often I do a series of non canon pages, so why waste it on something typical? Right before I got started drawing, I went "Oh, I got a more fun idea!" And that's what lead to what you see here.
The weather has been warming up here, making it feel like spring, which prompts me to listen to the soundtrack to His and Her Circumstances. See, back when I was in high school, I would walk home after school, which was about a 25 minute walk, give or take. I didn't have a MP3 player until the end of 2006 (An original 30 gig black Zune, which were way better than ipods). Instead, I had to use a portable CD player and listen to burned CDs.
So anyway, back in spring of 2006, I burned a CD of music from His and Her Circumstance and listened to it every day while walking home from school for about a month, because, to me, it felt like the perfect music for spring. Here are a couple tracks to listen to:

TRIVIA: If you've seen the Evangelion Rebuild, particularly 2.22, you might be saying "Hey! Wait a second! Isn't that music from Evangelion 2.22?" Well, sort of. You see, His and Her Circumstance was animated by Gainax, the studio who made Evangelion. Not only that, but the director for about the first half of the series before abruptly quitting and practically leaving anime all togther for a while was Hideaki Anno, the creator of Evangelion. Not only THAT, but the person who did the music for His and Her Circumstances ALSO did the music for Evangelion. So, when they were getting ready to put music to Evangelion 2.22, Anno went "You know, there's this asshole in Texas who likes Evangelion and His and Her Circumstance. Let's put music from Circumstance into 2.22 just to fucking take him completely out of the movie and ruin his evening."
So they did.
And I went "WHAT THE FUCK!? GODDAMMIT!"
And that's how whenever I watch Evangelion 2.22, I'm constantly thrown out of the experience because all I can think about is His and Her Circumstance.
Trivia 2: Gainax is known to completely fuck up their budgeting and run out of money while making anime. Evangelion's TV ending was a result of that. But MAN OH MAN did they fuck up with His and Her Circumstance. The money practically ran out halfway through the shows run, resulting in having no animation at all, wasting 2 episodes as recap episodes midway through the show, and had an entire episode that used paper cut outs and popsicle sticks. https://stereootaku.files.wordpress.com/2013/04/opening.jpg?w=551&h=413
