So here we are! We're getting a peak into the life of Owen! Like most important decisions when it comes to my storytelling, the initial push for an idea is a joke.

Last summer, I was talking to Cooper, explaining what Owen's background and all that could be like, and he didn't think it was all that interesting. So we wracked our brains for a little while, when he said sarcastically "Why not do (blank)."

And here we are! Doing exactly that!

Also, went and saw Power Rangers Friday night. It was a lot of fun! Had a good amount of schlock in it, too, and what I felt to be a nice representation of an autistic character without making pitiful or insulting. It was also refreshing to have the giant robot/monster fight in small town America versus a big city. Sort of like Megas XLR took a giant robot and slapped it in flatsville New Jersey.

Only issue was I had to wait for my friend to get off at 10 pm then come over to my place, and we wound up having to go to the AMC at fucking NorthPark Center in Dallas. Paid fucking $13 for a ticket (partly because I ordered it online). Since they had reserved seating, I thought maybe they'd have the nice reclining seats numerous AMC theaters are starting to have, which would make it worth the higher price. Nope! Shit seats! Fuck AMC NorthPark.
