MZone and Cooper: Reader Perception
Added 2017-05-01 03:55:53 +0000 UTCBack when I started uploading bodysuit drawings September of 2014, I was thinking about what to use for a artist representation. Ultimately I decided on a cartoon version of me. When I did that, Cooper criticized me for doing so and not making it a cute girl, calling my decision lame. I then said he was lame and we started beating the shit out of each other for 10 hours until we forgot what we were fighting for.
In all honesty, I don't care for using a cute girl as my representation. I feel like that skews people's perception of you. If you really want privacy n shit, then I could maybe understand that. But rather than have the "r u a grrrl?" questions directed to me, I thought it'd be easier to be up front and say "I'm a fatass dude with a beard." Saves everyone time and energy.
I also don't believe it'd actually increase patrons anyway without blatantly lying about it, but then I'd be pulling a Dobbers. Nobody likes being lied to about shit like that.
Cover page for next chapter coming at ya Wednesday! Or Thursday! Whichever day you happen to notice it on! Definitely won't be Friday.

The avatar wouldn't have to be "just" a girl. You could show a particular moment in a masking sequence when the mask is halfway on, with a hint of the disguise to come and obscuring your "real" face and leaving masculine details like the beard visible.
