The first page done with my XP Pen Artist 16. Couple of things I kinda knew were gonna be an issue turned out to be so. While having the 8 side buttons are nice, the size of the tablet gets in the way of my keyboard. Because of that, I try not to use it as much without having to reach around and look for keys. Doing roughs and inking is fine, but when it comes to coloring my process slows down. To alleviate that, I ordered a cheapo version of one of those "programmable gaming" keyboards that's just the WASD and surrounding keys, along with shift, ctrl, and so on. Hoping that placing that right next to the tablet and reassign the shortcuts, I'll be good to go on that front.
Also, I felt like that two weeks of practicing helped with doing the roughs. I felt like drawing stuff like the heads were going much faster/smoother now that I sort of "figured out" how to do it in a fashion where I can do it consistently. Of course, as according to Cooper, it looks just like it always have. Kinda sucks, but hey. At least I can hit my style more consistently now the very least without spending a bunch of time redoing shit.
