Added 2018-01-25 04:01:11 +0000 UTCThese past few days I've had a sleep schedule that didn't result me in sleeping after coming home from work and then waking up at midnight. Crazy!
This past month there were a couple freezes in my neck of the woods. Because of that, my apartment complex sent out notices to make sure to leave the heat on and let the faucets drip lest the pipes burst. Not wanting to deal with burst pipes, I did as I was told. However, this meant I was leaving my heat on for about 70 degrees at all times, even when I wasn't home. Well, the electricity bill came and wound up being doubled what I usually pay. I promptly turned the heat off.
Also didn't realize that I could download Funimation Now on my PC. Turned on some Slayers as I was drawing for background noise. Been a pretty fucking long time since I watched the original series (last time was 10 years ago when I bought Funimation's rerelease?). While it's not the greatest show in the world, it has its charms. I really liked it when I was around 15 when I first watched it with its mixture of fantasy drama and goofy (albeit not entirely funny) comedy. It's great background noise to work with, though! Also I personally like hearing Lisa Ortiz (Deedlit - Lodoss), Eric Stuart (Brock - Pokemon), Veronica Taylor (Ash - Pokemon), and Crispin Freeman (Fucking lame ass Spark - Lodoss/Kyon - Haruhi). They're great voice actors and some of them I have huge childhood nostalgia for.

One thing I have noticed about Kevin/Doris. Their becoming more and more comfortable in the suit then they should be. Their actions speak louder then words due to them learning how to be much more mature and composed thanks to Mirada and difficult life situations. I feel like the suit is only doing so much to them and the rest is just their brain just feeling happy with who they are in public. They weren't so much in public before with people around them doing events like this. Sitting at coffee shops or seeing them from time to time while they are by themselves without the suit to now being with multiple people and doing things outside their comfort with the suit is a huge step up in life for them.

2018-01-28 00:02:32 +0000 UTCHonestly I've had mixed feelings about the zipper. On the one hand it does introduce a useful plot device to keep Kevin on his toes. On the other when Miranda revealed the suit was designed for use in espionage it seemed the sipper was a noticeable flaw.

2018-01-26 12:30:58 +0000 UTCJust a note on the heat, you can turn it down to 60 or even 50, leave the doors open under the sinks, and be fine. The concern is less that the pipes inside are going to freeze and burst but that the ones just outside will. Extra girl points to Kevin for instinctively covering up.
