RPG Story: Robin Concept

Finally whipped up some sort of concept drawing of Robin, the protagonist of the RPG isekai gender bending visual novel I've been working on with Cooper on and off for almost a year. The first episode has gone through numerous entire rewrites and revisions, and *still* going through them as we figure how exactly it's gonna play.

For a quick summary, Robin is some casual classic video game collector who occasionally went to flea markets to find deals on classic video games from people who don't know the value of what they have. However, with more and more people becoming avid collectors, it's become harder for him to get anything for cheap due to prices skyrocketing. One day he comes across a middle aged man trying to offload a variety of old physical media, including some old video games. Robin winds up grabbing an unlabeled NES game for kicks, only to learn it's some generic 8-bit J-RPG. But after the prologue scrolls, he's transported to another world where the middle aged man from the flea market is actually one of its gods, and that Robin was chosen (at random) as part of a prophecy to become a hero ('s assistant) and save the world from a great calamity.

Problem is, that role was meant for a women, and Robin's a dude, so he was transformed into an elf girl to better fit the prophecy. The only way for him to change back is to amass a party (all who are terrible in their own way) and find the hero of legend and get his ass in gear to defeat the great evil that threatens the world.

Of course, this is all still tentative.
