Kinda weird considering how many years it took. I watched its US premier on Adult Swim back in 2002 and thought it was the coolest shit. It was a highlight for my saturday nights. Then of course it hit reruns and then wound up on Toonami. By then I was already used to the uncensored version from Adult Swim, so seeing them remove the curse words was a tad lame to me, but I somehow managed to live. I wonder how kid me would've reacted if I'd told him "Yeah, so I kinda fell off after the tournament and then didn't watch the rest for 14 years!"
I'll be honest, the last arc was a tad underwhelming. Things happened quickly, things that were set up to be something ultimately became nothing. And then it's all over with them going "Yeah, you kinda missed all." Felt like a store employee hurrying you out the store because they wanna close two hours early without you knowing.
With that series out of the way, I'm debating on what to go into next. I've got some Simpsons DVDs I've been hankering to watch, so maybe that? Though Pokemon Sun and Moon look fun to have playing in the background.
