Forgot to write "short #2 end" on the previous page. Anyway, that short ended.
This was suppose to be the start of the next short with Miranda, but after I sent Cooper the script yesterday he never responded back. I took that as a sign that he was probably busy with work or something. So this left me in a conundrum that I handled with absolutely no panic whatsoever.
Started watching the Crunchyroll english dub of Gintama. I knew it was a funny series from the tiny bit of the sub episodes I'd seen, but the episode count felt intimidating, especially watching it subtitled. The dub makes it a hell of a lot easier to watch while I'm working on something else. Even better, the dub is pretty decent!
Downside is that it starts at season 3 with probably no intention of dubbing anything earlier. It's a shame as I'd love to watch it while drawing, but I can understand why Crunchyroll didn't dub it. It was a gamble to dub at all in the first place since it's a long running series with most of its comedy being deeply trenched in Japanese culture. That sort of thing doesn't work well with a general audience. Then there's the fact the old episodes stretches back a decade ago and your typical anime fan wouldn't bother with it considering how many new shows come out a season in this day and age. There's too much to watch. My hope is that they dub later episodes after awhile. Preferably when I run out of episodes to watch.
Also going to the dentist tomorrow to get my permanent cap put in. Wooo!
