Untitled Cooper Comic Update #1
Added 2018-07-13 15:08:48 +0000 UTCCooper here. As you may have heard our new comic project is about a male swimmer who turns into a girl right before a world championship. The idea for this spawned somewhat spontanously while I was discussing with Mega what the best way to make use of gender bender as a subgenre would be. I cited sports as an example for a genre where gender poses certain restrictions, which is when Mega came up with the basic premise for our story. It took some back and forth before it turned into something I was happy with but we nailed down the concept in only a few hours (which is quite the achievement for us). We settled on the protagonist's female form being short with big tits fairly quickly. I did have some concerns over the lack of similarity with his male form though, which would be tall and muscular to match a professional swimmer. We aren't going to have much room to characterize the protagonist as a guy so his confidence would be a harder sell if he was a short twink (as well as his performance as a swimmer). I'm aware that some people are not fans of gender bending without much resemblance to the original, but personally I don't feel too strongly about it and neither does Mega. So that made it a pretty easy decision. Plus I really enjoy size difference. Capturing the protagonist's smugness and boldness was pretty important to me because I felt it was vital for the pacing of the story. I'm still debating how much shame he would have about his female body initially before getting over it, but I thought it might be a little boring if he was entirely unfazed. Although I suppose nonchalant nudity can have its own charm. The alt sketches I did mostly for fun and to explore the protagonist's character a bit.
