And the shoe drops!

On Tuesday I managed to write a short story using some of the suggestions made from the other day. The draft wound up coming out longer than I had intended to boot! 8.5k words all in one day! About 3.5k short from my writing in one day record, but still pretty darn good I think, what with the long lull between lengthy writing projects.

I posted the draft onto Discord and chatted with Cooper and some of the guys on there who gave it a read through. I plan to go back and rewrite a huge chunk in the middle entirely along with change the ending a bit, so there's a lot of work ahead before I can even get serious with editing. But that's how it goes I suppose.

I'm thinking of treating it similar to Magical Girl Dallas, as in make it available for sale on amazon, google play, nook, and my website. But unlike how MGD has been I wanna do at least 10 drawings for it to make it more worthwhile to own. Not only that but I kinda wanna make a physical version for kicks. It'd be an incredibly thin book, but I'm thinking of treating it like a doujin work. Just more text heavy.

Of course I'll hand it out a pdf to everyone on Patreon when it's done. It's gonna be a nice test to see how well I can self publish a finished work without my friend's help since it's looking like I won't be able to rely on him.
