He's only motivated by stuff that interests him, which resulted in him getting held back in high school twice due to low attendance. Due to unintentional miscommunication solely on his part, he gets Paul forced into serving as the waitress Allison for the day.
And here we have Zach! His characterization was loosely based on Danny from Game Grumps/Ninja Sex Party.
