Another Anime Fest came and went. I had some fun, outside of the hours where I did absolutely nothing because there wasn't anything interesting going on. There weren't many panels that interested my, but I did manage to go to the ones held by Helen McCarthy. The two I went to were The Really Early History of Anime and Hayao Miyazaki's Senpai: Isao Takahata. If you notice those are two hyperlinks because Anime Fest have made them available to watch on youtube, and I highly recommend checking them out. Also around the 47:30 in the Isao Takahata panel you can (barely) hear me ask a question! The question was basically "With the recent revelations of Isao Takahata's treatment of staff, should it or should it not be accounted for when looking back at his works." Spoiler: their opinion was basically "no."
Also hung out with a few peeps from the Kigu Shame Zone discord channel. I was given the chance by @LexiNingyo to wear her Hex Maniac kigurumi mask. Personally I think I came out pretty cute.
Also once again I get to keep my DVDs because nobody who knows about Bodysuit 23 for the most part attends Anime Fest in Dallas. This was to be expected, of course.
Also 4th annual anniversary stream on September 1st from 3pm to 11pm wait what?
