Bought an iPad and a apple pencil after talking with Cooper. It's neat. Did the base rough for this page on it. Sadly enough CSP runs better on the ipad than it does on my work mac. But hey, it's unfair to compare a new ipad to a 11 year old bare bones imac mini that only has 2 gigs of DDR2 ram, used to work on resource heavy adobe illustrator files.
In other news it looks like I'm gonna have to ditch my car and get a new one. It's lasted a good long time (and even still has its original AC unit!). It has over 200k miles on it and its 18 years old. Every year for the past decade that I've owned it my dad and I would always have to do a bunch of shit to get the check engine light to stay off so I can get it to pass inspection. There was always some stupid shit wrong with it, and honestly it's never stayed off for long periods of time. However this time we can't get the light to stay off long enough for me to go through the system checks or whatever its called and then get it inspected. The goal was to get it to last one more year as my brother will be graduating after this fall semester and he plans on buying a new car when he gets a job, and I'd get his old car (that was actually bought by my parents as an emergency after the engine on his old one straight up died forever).
It's been a long time coming, honestly. The gas mileage is garbage, and it burned oil like a mother fucker. My dad joked that there wasn't a point in changing the oil in the car because it went through it so quick that there was never oil to change. But really I didn't want to get a new car until after I had paid off my student loans and put that money towards it. Considering there's like another 8-10 years left on payments it was a pipe dream, but hey. What can ya do?
